The City =)

Well yesterday, though I of course should have been studying for finals, I went to the wonderful city. As you should probably know it was pretty nice out all day until later on that night, the minute that I left for the city.

I actually went there with my boyfriend, his cousin, and his cousins girlfriend. First, I was at the mall with my family and then John (my boyfriend) calls me and asks me to pick up his cousins girlfriend. I was already in a rush but I didn't mind, even though we left later then planned. Well anyway I picked her up and we eventually got to John's house. He came straight outside since we were already late and I parked and we both got into his car. From there we went to his cousins house in Brooklyn, and went inside for a few minutes.

We finally came outside to leave for the city and as we were walking to his car I felt a few drops on my head. We got in the car and it startedto drizzle. We figured 'hey no big deal'. We started driving and about 10 minutes later it started to pour, and then my dad called me and was saying how we should really check the weather when we plan things like this because it's suppose to pour the rest of the night. We decided to go anyway, and were joking about how maybe the rain will make it a little bit less crowded.

When we got there it was still raining and everyone was starving so we went to eat before going to see the tree. We ended up going to ESPN ZONE which I love and havn't been there in such a long time. We got buffalo wings and things like that and were watching the football game on all of the hundreds of T.V.'s they have in there. I ended up getting a buffalo chicken sandwhich, and it was the spicyest thing that I have probably ever eaten in my life. According to my boyfriend it was hot enough to burn a hole through your stomach.

Anyways, we eventually left and it wasn't raining out! So we parked yet again and walked to the tree and took so many pictures, and then watched the snowflake music show on the building that's across the street. It was all really beautiful. Eventually by 11:30 ish we decided it was best to go home since 3 out of the 4 of us had finals the next day. We finally left and then it started to rain again. Talk about perfect timing, huh!

Then we went back to Brooklyn, and me and my boyfriend got in his car, then when we got to his house I had to go all the way home, may I remind you I live on the complete opposite of the island from him.

All in all it was a really fun day and I can't wait to go back.!.

Christmas Time! YAY!

I'm really excited for Christmas time, I really can't wait. It's one of my most favorite times of the year. I put up my tree about a week or two ago and it is so pretty! It's a fiber optic tree and it's beautiful. The only thing I don't like about it is not putting the lights up. My parents bought this kind of a tree so we didn't have to deal with the lights because it gets twisted and a bunch of bulbs could go out and stuff like that. Personally, I always thought it was fun putting up the lights and things like that. My family and I still have to put up lights and stuff like that on the outside of my house. Last year me and my dad did it and there was still snow on the ground because it snowed only a few days before and it was freezing out! My fingers were practically frozen and so numb sticking the light up reindeers in the ground, but it was worth it because it looked really good.
But anways, Christmas! i can't wait. I love seeing my whole family and eating all the really good food and stuff like that. I love awtching my brother open his presents espeically because I think it's so cute! I of course like opening my presents as well!
Only 4 days after Christmas is my birthday! How awesome is that?! Double the presents! I'm finally going to be turning 18 and I can hardly wait.
Only about 2 1/2 more weeks I think about 17 days! yay.

DNY FINAL!!!!

I of course waited last last last minute to do my DNY final, and let me tell you something, it is so hard. We have to pick 4 out of 7 questions and write a about a page response for each of them. Not hard right? Well guess again. For most of these questions you have to final specific examples from a book that we read in class, and this book really isn't that short. Hopefully it won't take me that long.
Now if this DNY final isn't bad enough I just got reminded by Eddie (Eduardo) that these blogs are due today. It totally blew my mind. I really thought I had more time for these but I don't have that many to write so it won't be that bad. I have a couple of ideas on what I could write about and I'll be done with this tonight. I actually enjoy writing in here because it is kind of relieving and I'm able to let out some stress by writing. Okay well I have to go try and finish my DNY final.
WISH ME LUCK!

Ouija Boards!

Some people may or may not believe in ghosts and spirits and things like that, but I sure do! A couple of years ago on I bought a ouija board to play on Halloween, and a bunch of us played and it was kind of scary and I remember it working a little bit but that was it, that was the last time I played until the other day.
Now let me explain to you how you're suppose to play. You can play with 1 to 3 people I think but there was 3 people playing the other night. Anyway one person asks a question and the other one or two people place their fingertips lightly on the triangle (not sure what it's called) and concentrate on that question and it should move on its own. It has the words yes and no and has every letter of the alphabet on it so when you ask a question it could spell out the answer for you.
Well the other night it was my, my mother, brother and my boyfriend. We were all in my room and were going to play. My brother got really scared and freaked out and got every holy statue, cross, and rosary beads in the house and brang it all on my bed and just watched us play. I felt okay because I was wearing a cross. But anyway, we started playing and we asked it a couple of yes or no questions and it moved and answered them. It was a little bit scary but not too bad. The next part and thing that happened really freaked me out. My boyfriend asked " what is my mother's maiden name?" Now my mother and my fingertips were on the triangle and neither one of us knew the answer, so it started moving very slowly. I then shut my eyes because I started to get really scared and it started moving faster and faster and I opened my eyes and it eventually got to the letter H. At that point it stopped and my boyfriend got up, ran out of the room and started screaming. His mothers maiden name did in fact start with an H. I got so freaked out and looked up ouija boards online and it said it was a gateway to another dimension and it can be very dangerous because you can let evil spirits out. I started reading stories and whenever something bad happened it was during when the people were playing the game like a candle going out, light going on or off or even a shoe flying across the room. I figured nothing happened while we were playing so it was going to be okay. I was still so freaked out and I called my friend Lisa who is a wicken, and told her what happened. She started laughing at me and said it was fine, after that I felt so much better. Let me tell you something though, if you're going to play be ready because it's not a joke.

As the semester is comming to an end

As the semester is comming to an end work is really piling up on me. I have so much to do and as I wrote in one of my previous blogs I procrastinate.
Well it's really bad right now. I have finals due in every one of my classes which are all papers except for my pysychology class which will be a regular test which I really hope I do good on. But anyway back to all my work. I'm a little bit behind in two of my classes which is my speech class and my discover new york class. Both classes I had something due about a week ago, which I completely forgot to do and now I have to do both of those things along with the final. For my speech final I have to write a 7 to 10 minute outline about what I want to become and then write a 7 to 10 minute speech seperate from that one and tell it to the class. Along with that I have a bunch of questions to answer from the text book which I havn't used once all year. Now besides my final I have to hand in a listening report which I'm not sure exactly what to do so I have to ask one of my friends.
In my Discover New York class my final is that I had to go somewhere where it has changed and take pictures to prove I was there. Along with that I have to do research on the topic and explain how different it is compared to what it used to be. Besides that I have to do something with a newspaper article and tell how it relates to something I havbe learned in the class and of course it has to do with New York.
This is going to be terrific. After this week is over I'm going to be so happy because all this stress will be taken off of me because everything that I have to do will pretty much be done with already and handed in for the most part. I just really have to stop waiting for the last second and I will be okay.

Thanksgiving

What is the first thing that comes to mind about Thanksgiving? Food! Lots and lots of food! Well let me tell you I havn't eaten that much in such a long time!
This Thanksgiving my family and I stood home and my grandmother came over. Usually we go to my grandmothers house and then my Nanny and Nonno's house (other grandparents) and after all that eating we eventually come home.
Well this year was very different. My dad cooked everything I think (not sure because I really wasn't helping very much, aside from getting rid of the food), but it was absolutely delicious. There was some sort of pasta, which I can't remember the name of right now, stuffed mushrooms, riceballs, potatoe croquettes, of course turkey and a few other things. I ate so much of everything and I was so unbelievably full.
After eating I took a nap and then it was time for more food, desert! YUMMY! There is always room for desert. But anyway there were so many pastries and cookies and it was all so good and delicious!
The football game of course was on as we were eating dinner but then it was time to take my grandmother home because she really doesn't like to stay out that late. So my dad brought her home and then he came back and we were all just relaxing and it was a very nice day. Later on that night I decided to go back downstairs and I was hungry, now don't ask me how after eating all that food, but I was hungry again. So I'll let you guess! And you probably guessed correctly, yes I had all of the leftovers. I ate so much this Thanksgiving, I really don't know where I put it all but I guess if I weigh myself you'll see it in the scale!

Nothing to write

These blogs are really killing me right now. I'm finding it so difficult to pick a topic to write about, so pretty much right now I'm writing about nothing at all. In the beginning of class I thought to myself 'oh blogs, piece of cake', but hey it's really not that easy. Updating slips my memory very easily and I actually thought about updating by accident or I would have completley forgot. My computer is broke and my laptop isn't working either so I actually wasn't even able to give in my draft for my final paper because I wasn't in school and I havn't been able to e-mail it. I'm actually at my cousins house right now and I decided to check my st johns account because my pyschology usual e-mails us important things and I can across the name Farley and I said to myself well since my computer is broken why not update my blogs now!
Thank goodness gracious I'm doing it now because I'm kind of very behind, but I'll catch up.
